Max’s Journey to Recovery
Max, a resilient Corgi from Ohio, was found severely injured after crawling under a farm fence. Initially thought to be hurt by the fence, it was later discovered he had been shot between the eyes. Miraculously, the bullet missed his brain but caused severe airway damage, leaving him in critical condition.
The Ohio Humane Society quickly stepped in, treating Max’s wounds and providing much-needed pain relief. Despite additional challenges like anemia and a flea infestation, Max showed incredible strength and spirit.
As he recovered, Max’s positive energy never wavered. His caregivers were amazed by his resilience, especially when he happily wagged his tail after surgery, proving he’s a true fighter.
