Volunteers from Urban Tails Rescue discovered her in this heartbreaking condition. As they searched for any leads about her past, it became clear that she had been discarded without a second thought. The family responsible for her abandonment had left her with no information or hope, but the rescuers were determined to offer her a chance at a new life.
A New Beginning
The little puppy, soon named Bella, was rushed to a vet for an urgent examination. The vet discovered that Bella was suffering from a skin infection, requiring immediate treatment. To ensure she stayed warm and comfortable, her rescuers dressed her in a snug sweater—a small but significant sign of their care. Bella was then moved to an emergency foster home where she would receive the love and support she desperately needed. The foster home, which also hosted a dog named Scout, who had been rescued by Urban Tails Rescue, provided a nurturing environment. Scout, with his gentle nature, quickly became a caring older brother to Bella. Under her new family’s attentive care, Bella began to recover both physically and emotionally, with her condition improving steadily.
Finding a Forever Home
During Bella’s two-week stay with her foster family, her future adoptive family came into the picture. Laura, her new mom, was thrilled to offer Bella a loving home. The moment Bella was ready to move, Laura and her family welcomed her with open arms. Overwhelmed with emotion, Laura had tears of joy as she met Bella for the first time. This marked the start of a new chapter for Bella, who was now part of a family that would cherish and care for her.
