A stray dog wanders the streets, his ribs showing through his thin coat, a sign of the hunger that gnaws at him every day. His once-strong body is weakened from lack of food, and all he finds to eat is scraps of stale bread left behind by passersby. It’s not enough to fill his belly, but he has no choice.
Each day, he scours the streets, hoping for something more—a morsel of real food, a kind gesture, or even just a moment of warmth from someone who notices him. His eyes, filled with desperation, scan the faces of strangers, hoping one of them will stop and offer him a meal or some affection.
Despite the cold and hunger, the stray dog holds on, surviving day by day on the bare minimum. He dreams of the day when someone will not just pass by, but see him for the lonely, starving soul he is and give him the care he desperately needs.
