2 cups unsalted butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar

1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C) and grease three 8-inch round cake pans.
2. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then add eggs one at a time. Mix in vanilla.
3. In a separate bowl, sift flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, alternating with buttermilk. Add food coloring to get a pink hue.
4. Divide batter evenly among pans and bake for 25-30 minutes. Cool completely.
5. For the frosting, beat butter until smooth, add powdered sugar and vanilla. Add pink food coloring for that gorgeous hue.
6. For the ganache, heat heavy cream and pour over chocolate chips. Let sit for 2 minutes, then stir until smooth.
7. Frost the cooled cake and pour the ganache drip on the edges.
