Blueberry Chocolate Lavadender Dream Cake
Ingredients:
– 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
– 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
– 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
– 1 cup granulated sugar
– 2 large eggs
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1/2 cup sour cream
– 1/2 cup whole milk
– 1/2 cup cocoa powder
– 1 cup fresh blueberries
– 1 tablespoon dried culinary lavender
– 1/2 cup blueberry jam
– 2 cups cream cheese frosting
– Fresh blueberries and lavender sprigs for garnish
– Chocolate ganache (optional, for drizzling)
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare cake pans.
2. Mix dry ingredients together and set aside.
3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla.
4. Combine wet and dry mixtures, alternating with sour cream and milk.
5. Fold in blueberries.
6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, then cool.
7. Frost and layer cakes, adding lavender-infused frosting.
8. Garnish with blueberries, lavender, and chocolate ganache.
