Today was supposed to be Roger’s special day. 🎂 He woke up with a wag of excitement, hoping his friends would be there to celebrate. The morning sun streamed through the window, and Roger sat by the door, waiting for Sem and his other dog friends to show up. But the hours ticked by, and no one came.
Roger’s heart started to feel heavy. He tried to shake it off, playing with his favorite toy and sniffing around the house, but it wasn’t the same. The balloons were still hanging, the treats untouched. 🎈🐾
He wondered, “Did they forget?” His tail lowered as he walked slowly to his bed, curling up into a little ball of fur. 🐕 His eyes gazed at the door, hoping for even one bark or paw tap from his friends. But the house remained quiet.
