Bailey’s Chocolate Cheesecake Trifle

Cheesecake Layer:
16 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon sea salt
¼ cup Baileys Irish Cream
Chocolate Whipped Cream:
1 cup heavy whipping cream, chilled
2 tablespoons Baileys Irish Cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Additional Ingredients:
20 Oreo cookies, crushed
𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
1. Make the Chocolate Cheesecake Layer:
In a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and sea salt together until smooth and combined.
Add the Baileys Irish Cream and continue beating until the mixture is light, smooth, and fluffy.
2. Make the Chocolate Whipped Cream:
In a separate mixing bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until it doubles in volume and starts to thicken.
Add in Baileys, vanilla extract, cocoa powder, and powdered sugar. Continue to beat until stiff peaks form and the whipped cream holds its shape.
3. Prepare the Oreo Crumble:
Place the Oreo cookies in a gallon-sized plastic bag and crush them using a rolling pin until small crumbles form.
4. Assemble the Trifles:
Fill piping bags with the cheesecake mixture and whipped cream mixture (optional but makes layering easier).
Layer the trifles in serving glasses (e.g., lowball glasses or dessert bowls) as follows:
Start with a layer of cookie crumbs.
Add a layer of chocolate cheesecake.
Follow with a layer of whipped cream.
Repeat the layers, starting again with cookie crumbs and cheesecake.
5. Final Touch:
Attach an open star piping tip to the whipped cream piping bag and pipe a swirl of whipped cream on top of each trifle.
Garnish with a sprinkle of crushed Oreo cookies.
Ready in 20 Minutes!
These indulgent mini trifles are best served immediately but can be stored in the refrigerator for a few hours if prepared in advance.
