Banana Caramel Roulade
Ingredients:
For the sponge:
4 large eggs, separated ๐Ÿฅš

For the filling:
1 cup heavy whipping cream ๐Ÿถ
1/4 cup powdered sugar ๐Ÿš
1 tsp vanilla extract ๐Ÿจ
2 ripe bananas, sliced ๐ŸŒ
For the caramel sauce:
1 cup brown sugar ๐Ÿ‚
1/2 cup heavy cream ๐Ÿถ
4 tbsp unsalted butter ๐Ÿงˆ
1 tsp vanilla extract ๐Ÿจ
Pinch of salt ๐Ÿง‚
For garnish:
Crushed graham crackers ๐Ÿช
Banana slices ๐ŸŒ
Powdered sugar ๐Ÿš
Directions:
1๏ธโƒฃ Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC) and line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
2๏ธโƒฃ In a bowl, beat egg yolks with 1/2 cup sugar until light and fluffy. Stir in the mashed bananas ๐ŸŒ and vanilla ๐Ÿจ.
3๏ธโƒฃ In another bowl, whisk egg whites to soft peaks. Gradually add the remaining 1/4 cup sugar ๐Ÿฌ, continuing to whisk until stiff peaks form.
4๏ธโƒฃ Sift together the flour ๐Ÿž, baking powder ๐Ÿงช, and salt ๐Ÿง‚. Fold into the yolk mixture, then gently fold in the beaten egg whites.

9๏ธโƒฃ To make the caramel sauce, combine brown sugar ๐Ÿ‚, cream ๐Ÿถ, butter ๐Ÿงˆ, vanilla ๐Ÿจ, and salt ๐Ÿง‚ in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir constantly, bringing it to a boil, until it thickens.
