Black Forest Cheesecake Symphony
Ingredients
For the Crust:
24 Oreo cookies, finely crushed
¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
For the Filling:
3 packages (680 g) cream cheese, room temp
1 cup granulated sugar
¾ cup sour cream
⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 large eggs
1 cup cherry pie filling
For the Ganache:
⅔ cup heavy cream
6 oz semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
For Garnish:
Fresh raspberries
Chocolate shavings
Directions
Crust: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix crushed Oreos and butter. Press into a 9-inch pan.
Cheesecake: Beat cream cheese and sugar. Blend in sour cream, cocoa, and vanilla. Add eggs one by one, fold in cherry filling. Pour over crust.
Bake: Bake for 50-55 mins. Cool on a wire rack.
Ganache: Heat cream until simmering. Pour over chocolate and stir until smooth. Spread over cheesecake.
Chill: Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight.
Garnish: Top with raspberries and chocolate shavings.
