Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cake

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 ¾ cups granulated sugar
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
1 ½ tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
½ cup vegetable oil
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup boiling water
1 cup sliced fresh strawberries
1 cup chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
Combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla; mix until smooth. Stir in boiling water.
Fold in strawberries and chocolate chips.
Pour batter evenly into pans. Bake 30-35 mins or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Cool cakes for 10 mins, then transfer to a wire rack.
Frost with your favorite frosting. Garnish with extra strawberries and chocolate drizzle.
