Early one morning, I found a dog, starving and thirsty, huddled under a tree. His ribs showed through his matted fur, and his eyes pleaded for help. I gave him my sandwich and some water, which he devoured eagerly. As I sat with him, I realized how many animals are overlooked, struggling to survive in silence.
This encounter reminded me of the importance of compassion. There are countless animals like him in need of food, water, and love. A small act of kindness can change their lives—and ours too. Let’s all take a moment to offer help when we can.
