Red Velvet Cheesecake Bliss!
Ingredients:
Red Velvet Cake Layer:
1½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup sugar
½ cup unsalted butter, softened
2 eggs
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ cup buttermilk
1 tsp red food coloring
Cheesecake Layer:
16 oz cream cheese, softened
½ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
Topping:
1 cup fresh strawberries
¼ cup strawberry sauce
Directions:
1. Make Red Velvet Layer:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs, cocoa, and vanilla. Mix in buttermilk and food coloring. Bake in a springform pan for 20-25 mins. Cool.
2. Create Cheesecake Layer:
Beat cream cheese, sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Pour over cooled cake. Bake at 325°F for 45-50 mins. Cool completely, then refrigerate for 2 hours.
3. Top & Serve:
Garnish with fresh strawberries and drizzle with strawberry sauce. Slice and enjoy chilled!
