1 tsp vanilla extract
⅔ cup all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
For the Cheesecake Layer:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup sugar
1 large egg
½ tsp vanilla extract
Directions:
Brownie Base: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment. Mix melted butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Add cocoa, flour, salt, and baking powder. Spread into pan.
Red Velvet Layer: Cream butter and sugar, then add egg, food coloring, vanilla, flour, and salt. Spread over brownie base.
Cheesecake Swirl: Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Dollop over red velvet layer and gently swirl with a knife.
Bake: Bake for 45-50 mins, until set. Cool on a wire rack, then chill for 2 hours before slicing.
