Snickers Caramel Tart, A Sweet & Salty Slice of Heaven!
Ingredients:
For the Crust:
1 3/4 cups (220g) salted roasted peanuts, divided
1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
2 tbsp (25g) light brown sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup (113g) cold unsalted butter, cubed
3 tbsp (45ml) ice water
For the Filling:
1 cup salted caramel sauce
1 cup salted roasted peanuts, chopped
For the Topping:
6 oz milk or semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
2 tbsp creamy peanut butter
Optional Garnishes:
Chopped Snickers bar
Crushed peanuts
Extra caramel sauce
Instructions:
Make the Crust:
Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Pulse 3/4 cup peanuts, flour, brown sugar, and salt in a food processor. Add butter cubes and pulse until crumbly. Add ice water until dough forms. Press into a 9-inch tart pan. Use pie weights or prick with a fork. Bake for 18-20 minutes. Cool slightly.
Make the Filling:
Combine caramel and chopped peanuts. Pour into the cooled crust.
Make the Topping:
Melt chocolate and peanut butter together. Spread over the caramel layer.
Chill & Serve:
Refrigerate for 2-3 hours until set. Garnish with chopped Snickers, crushed peanuts, or extra caramel.
