“It’s Kao’s birthday!” Kian announced, his voice full of affection. The realization swept through the group, and in an instant, they all broke out into a chorus of joyful barks and howls. “Happy Birthday, Dao!” they cheered, surrounding her with love and playful nudges.
Dao’s heart filled with warmth as her wish came true. Surrounded by her friends, she realized that sometimes, all it takes is speaking up to receive the love and wishes you deserve. Today was perfect after all.
