400g spaghetti
400g canned San Marzano tomatoes
3–4 cloves garlic, sliced
4–5 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
50g black olives (preferably Gaeta olives)
2 tbsp capers
4–5 anchovy fillets (optional but traditional)
1 tsp chili flakes
Fresh parsley or basil

Salt and black pepper

Method:
1. Prepare the sauce
Heat extra virgin olive oil in a large pan.
Add sliced garlic and cook gently until fragrant.
Add anchovy fillets and stir until they dissolve into the oil.

Add chili flakes, capers, and sliced olives, allowing the flavors to combine.

2. Add the tomatoes
